Test Overview:
This is a non-treponemal syphilis screening test. Systemic lupus erythematosus, leprosy, brucellosis, atypical pneumonia, typhus, yaws, pinta, or pregnancy can all cause false-positive results. RPR monitoring is useful in determining the efficacy of therapy.

Test Preparation:
There is no need for any prior preparation.
